We are a developer and investor in the built environment. From homes to hospitals, learning spaces to working places, civic buildings to care facilities, at Kajima we shape every place we create around the needs of those who will live or work in them. That not only means initial design, but also ongoing, management, maintenance and revitalisation – changing our places to reflect the evolving needs of people who use them.

We create modern, multi-purpose educational spaces that serve the whole community.

We take great pride in providing modern multi-purpose education facilities at both primary and secondary level in the heart of the local community. Driven by the belief that well designed buildings inspire and support young people in their learning, our goal is to deliver stimulating learning environments that promote everything from physical activity through to quiet reflection. Working collaboratively, we create safe and flexible spaces serving a range of different needs.

Our community team can help you reach out into the neighbourhood and optimise the use of and financial income from your facilities outside of school hours.

Our bespoke facilities service a broad range of community health and acute care needs.

We specialise in delivering health and medical spaces that service a range of community, mental health, primary care and acute care demands. We take pride in creating environments that are expertly designed to meet the specific requirements of users, whether it be the delivery of care, spaces to aid rehabilitation or for organisations to work efficiently.
Our expertise allows us to create facilities that deliver greater efficiency and better health outcomes. And we deliver value through rationalisation, sharing and repurposing space, with emphasis on whole-life specification and ease of maintenance.

Work Space

We develop and invest in productive environments to meet the needs of businesses for now and in the future.

Workspaces are the engine rooms of most organisations. They are also an expression of the organisation’s culture, and increasingly, key to attracting, motivating and retaining staff. So it’s vital to understand how business locations and workspace needs evolve over time.  We have been active in the London office market for 30 years and have been delivering and managing workspace for the public sector for the past 15 years.

The design and use of workspace has evolved substantially but our approach to finding the optimum design solution remains the same: rigorous analysis of the location combined with an understanding of your occupational needs and value drivers.

We help venues across a range of sectors connect with the community; optimising use of their facilities and generating additional revenue.

Both our lettings software and range of lettings services are designed to help market facilities available to hire and generate profits for venues.  We also directly manage community use across a number of sites.

We work with partners to bring regeneration to the country’s towns and cities.

Urban regeneration can be a catalyst for areas to rediscover their identity and respond to the needs of the local community.  A successful scheme is one in which buildings and open spaces come together to form a greater whole; a stimulating and appealing environment that builds on the positive attributes of the area.

We work with a range of partners to conceive, develop and deliver mixed-use regeneration schemes. Compelling propositions stem from the combination of our expertise in funding, project management and partnership working and the partner’s development skills and knowledge of the local area.

Social Care

Our adaptable social care facilities support and enhance people’s quality of life.

We believe in creating care settings that enable people to live an active and fulfilling life, whatever their circumstances. Our focus is on creating designs with inherent flexibility, so people can live safely and securely without the need to relocate as they transition through their later years.

Our development expertise brings together and promotes new ideas and concepts to support the growing expectations within the elderly care sector.
We work as a team, combining the various skills necessary to fund and manage the safe delivery and completion of projects.
