Kajima has appointed three new senior team members to its London head office, the appointments reflect ambitious growth plans and strategic expansion of its residential, regeneration and mixed-use development portfolio. In July, Kajima appointed Kate Pix as Regeneration Director, Stephen Young as Senior Investment Manager, and Libby Butler who was appointed as Development Manager in June.
Katie Pix joins with over 20 years of experience in the UK real estate and infrastructure markets, including working on the East Wick and Sweetwater regeneration projects. Kate will be responsible for growing Kajima’s regeneration business and identifying public-private partnership opportunities.
Stephen Young has over six years of experience at Fizzy Living, a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing Association, where he managed a portfolio of 1,000 residential units across London and the Southeast. At Kajima, Stephen will continue to help grow exposure in the European residential market, which includes Build to Rent, student housing and co-living sub-sectors.
Both following Libby Butler, who joins from IV Real Estate after starting her career as a quantity surveyor. Libby will be supporting Kajima’s growth in development partnerships with a focus on town centre regeneration projects.
