Kajima has appointed Tim James as Investment Director based at the newly located office in St Giles Square, London. Tim joins the property team from Investment Managers, Longmead Capital, where he was responsible for a significant investment and asset management portfolio, covering both London and major UK regional cities.
Kajima are actively looking to increase their London office portfolio following the rise of the office market and the previous success of their 77 Coleman Street development. Tim joins the team with over 15 years of experience in commercial property at Land Securities, as part of the Central London portfolios team, and at Columbia Threadneedle, working across a variety of private equity funds.
Tim James, Investment Director at Kajima said: “I am delighted to be joining a dynamic team with exciting growth ambitions for Central London. I am looking forward to using my investment and asset management experience to help drive performance across the existing office portfolio and to grow the business by expanding the assets under management and Kajima’s development pipeline.”
John Harcourt, Managing Director at Kajima said: “We are already seeing this September a heightened demand for London’s best offices. It will be these buildings that will recover the quickest and strongest from the pandemic. I’m therefore delighted to have someone of Tim’s calibre and expertise join our growing team as he is perfectly placed to support our ambitious plans to increase our prime London office market footprint - delivering more high-quality and sustainable spaces for future occupiers.”
Tim’s appointment follows three new senior appointees: Kate Pix, Regeneration Director, Stephen Young, Senior Investment Director, and Libby Butler as Development Manager.
