Long-term investment to deliver specialist regeneration across towns and cities

Through a series of strategic partnerships, Kajima is helping to deliver a number of mixed-use regeneration projects across the UK. The Genr8 Kajima Regeneration Ltd (GKRL) partnership is a 50/50 joint venture between Kajima Partnerships and Genr8 Developments, which has delivered over £130m of town centre regeneration in Rochdale Riverside. The partnership is working on the Health Innovation Neighbourhood, a world-leading development for Newcastle University, a new commercial and residential district called St Michael’s Place, and the Build to Rent and Hotel elements for Telford Station Quarter. Kajima’s Regeneration team is also part of Jigsaw by Partnerships & Places, a specialist mixed-use regeneration investor and developer formed between Genr8 Kajima Regeneration Limited (GKRL), Thriving Investments and igloo Regeneration. The partnership is designing and developing a new creative quarter for Winchester City Council in the town centre with a wide range of mixed-uses.
