A commitment to long-term, vital investment into clean energy infrastructure

Kajima’s target is to develop + 3.5GW of renewable energy projects over the next five years. To achieve this target, Kajima is currently focusing its activity in the UK and Poland. In the UK, Kajima has established Taiyo Power & Storage, a joint venture with Low Carbon Alliance. Taiyo is currently developing a portfolio of +200MW of large-scale ground-mounted solar PV and +200MW of battery energy storage facilities through to Ready-to-Build. In Poland, and in partnership with Griffin Capital Partners, Kajima acquired PAD RES, an experienced Polish renewable energy developer in wind, solar, and energy storage. Under the PAD RES platform, Kajima is developing and building a portfolio of +1.5GW of projects. Most recently, the Kajima/Griffin partnership became the majority shareholder of Hymon, the second-largest rooftop solar PV and heat pump installation company in Poland.
