Kajima have signed new tenants, Clays, a unique socialising concept, offering a digitalised clay target shooting experience using state of the art technology, as well as offering food and drinks. The concept will compromise 12 pegs or booths, that can be booked by groups of up to 20 people for a 90-minute session. The hospitality venue will occupy 10,400 sq ft across two floors at basement level of the 77 Coleman landmark development, over a 15-year lease.

Tim James, Investment Director at Kajima, commented: “The growth of competitive socialising looks set to continue, with consumers keen to spend more on experiences, and in these challenging times for the hospitality and leisure sector it is great to see an occupier like Clays looking to the future. We are excited to be bringing this entirely new concept to the City of London – if our own team’s reaction to the venue and experience is anything to go by, it’s set to become a firm favourite amongst Londoners.”

Tom Snellock, Founder of Clays, said: “When choosing where to launch our first Clays location, we wanted somewhere in the heart of the city, with great connections, and a contemporary feel that reflects our young, ambitious brand. We are thrilled to have opened our first venue in such a prime location.”

77 Coleman Street is an 83,000 sq ft office-led development, designed by leading London architecture company, Buckley Gray Yeoman. Previously seen as a dated 1980s office, the extensive transformation has established a new presence on Coleman Street by creating 16,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space. The development boasts an excellent central location, with close links to the new Elizabeth Line station, and opens onto Coleman Street Gardens in EC2, one of the city’s rare green spaces.
